Dear Sir/Madam: I am planning to apply for emigration as a skilled worker from Mainland China. The Visa Office I will choose is Hong Kong, China. As new forms and an updated Instruction Guide and Document Checklist (IMM 5612) are now available in the CIC website, and applicants are encouraged to follow the new Instruction Guide when preparing to submit an application, I find there are some differences between the new Checklist and the old one and this make me confused. I wish you could help me in clarifying the followings: 1. In the new Checklist IMM 5612, Point 12. Education/ Training/ Qualification The last sentence of this point is "You must include evidence of both the total number of years of education along with evidence that the program(s) were completed I wonder what the EDUCATION means? Means ONLY postsecondary education? Or BOTH postsecondary education and primary and secondary education? 2. The new Checklist IMM 5612 comprises most of the Checklist in Hong Kong Visa Office specific instructions, which was linked in the CIC website before, but not linked now. But I can still find the HK VO Document Checklist which seems to be modified recently in the website of Hong Kong General Consulate. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37019.pdf I wonder if I should collect both the documents according to the demands of BOTH the CIO and HK VO, or ONLY the demand of CIO? 3. I have noticed in the new Document Checklist IMM 5612, Point 18, Photo Requirements: "On the back of five of the photographs, write the name and date of birth of the appears in the photo as well as the photos was taken. Leave the sixth photograph blank." BUT in the HK VO specific instruction mentioned above, the photo requirement differs from the requirement of CIO. In HK VO specific instructions, it demands "On the back of EACH photograph, write the name of birth of the person who appears in the photo as well as the date the photo was taken" So how many photos of each person I should write down the relevant data? Five or six?4. In CIC website, I find these texts "Applications that are received by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) on or after November 14, 2011 that have not been prepared using the updated Instruction Guide and the Document Checklist (IMM 5612), will be returned as incomplete." And "As of July 18, 2011, applicants for Permanent Residence are asked to complete the new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008).” Does it mean that I can use the old Document Checklist AND a new IMM 0008 to apply for emigration before November 14, 2011? 回复: 关于新的申请指引和表格，刚刚发给HONGKONG VISA OFFICE 的询问信，看看大家能否回答？坐等答案我觉得，1那个，太搞了，不过对中国人来说，由清华认证的话，基本可以说明问题了。年份中国人只会多，不会少；即便少年班，也接近年份了。。。姐姐我本科毕业，从小到大17年啊。。。5年本科啊，真作孽阿；照他们说法，博士都快毕业了？！！ 其他准备材料的问题，哎，我觉得，多总好过少；新的checklist上有啥，就交啥；基本都比本来少啊
