在加拿大
This Wednesday I passed the road test and will have a Canadian driver license soon. It’s a nice present for celebrating my one year’s landing. How time flies, so far I have lived in Vancouver for one year. I have overcome many difficulties and start enjoying the life here. I should appreciate many people at this moment. Whatever conscious or not, their kindness and help give me confidence and courage to walk out of loneness. Apparently, the recession is getting worse. Get a job is becoming a tough mission for many new comers. When I came here one year ago, it’s pretty hard to imagine the North American economy will collapse to such bad situation. Is there anything wrong for Uncle Sam? Everything is supposed to have its causality. All of invest banks have bankrupted or been acquired. The two biggest banks and largest insurance group of America have involved in the worst financial crisis in their history. Even American government threw out a huge deficit for 2009. What I concerned right now is how serious consequence of these things will impact upon China and Canada. At the lunch break, my colleagues and I talked about if Chinese GDP will remain 8% increase in 2009. I think it’s not a very huge challenge if the government keeps investing since GDP calculating against investment, consumption and export, but is it supposed to be a good idea. I don’t know. In this Spring Festival, I went Ningbo to take two weeks’ holiday. Whenever I stayed at home or drove my car through the street, I always felt I just came back after taking a very short-time trip. Ningbo is so genial and familiar for me, as if I never left. In my mind, it’s undoubtedly the best place in China. On May of 2008, the longest sea bridge of the world, Hang Zhou bay bridge, opened to traffic. And it shortens commuting from Ningbo to Shanghai to 2 hours’ drive. When I departed to Vancouver, I drove my car through the bridge for the first time. As the sunlight penetrated the thick cloud and scattered the golden to the sea wave, I knew how deeply I love my born city. I like Vancouver too. Summer is the best season for Vancouver. People can enjoy beach, sunshine and infinity flesh air. But recently, the ceaseless gun crimes make me uncomfortable. It’s a stain for this beautiful city. If Vancouver could be safer, it will be more suitable for the title of the best place on earth. Probably as people said, nothing is perfect. I think What I did in the past year is not bad. And I might make some new plans for myself in the following year. English study is still the top priority. Hence, I should enroll some courses, should I?
