National Do Not Call List Some newcomer families (especially those with limited English) have troubles with Telemarketers who call. There is a place to register a phone number on the "Do Not Call" list and its very simple. It doesn't elminate all telemarketer calls, but should help. For more information and to register check out the website:https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/insnum-regnum-engIts a good idea to have a discussion with your newcomer family about telemarketers and the importance of not giving out personal information over the phone. If a family doesn't understand what the caller is calling for you could suggest they take the person's name and phone number and give it to you to look into it as some calls may be important.

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]回复: 避免广告电话的方法今天在公司得到证实，这个列表确实有法律效力。如果电话用户在注册后仍然收到广告电话，可以起诉相应公司。但是如果是境外的电话打来的，比如说USA，那就没办法了。
