本人刚做外贸,发了几天开发信,收到这样一封信,因本人英语不是很好,跪求高手帮忙翻译,谢谢!
信里内容如下:
A. FACTORY OWNERSHIP:
1. Do you have your own factories? Where are they located? Any factories in Cambodia, Laos or Bangladesh?
2. Are the ftys vertically integrated? Fabric knitting/dyeing? Cut/Sew? Printing/Embroidery? Garment wash / dye capabilities?
3. Do you subcontract? If yes, which areas of production do you subcontract?
4. How long have you been exporting? Which countries have you been exporting to? Who are your key customers in these markets?
B. CAPACITY:
1. What is the monthly capacity of your ftys?
2. How many machines does your factory have? Pls. provide a detailed list of machinery.
3. What is your minimum order qty?
4. What is your standard production lead-time?
C. PRODUCTS:
1. What are the products that each of your factories do?
2. Do you supply the finished product or only part?
3. Do you produce goods based on customer’s designs/requirements? Do you have your own brand?
4. Which companies / brands do you currently produce goods for?
5. How long does it take to get pricing? How long does it take to produce samples?
D. QUALITY CONTROL / COMPLIANCE:
1. Do you have a quality process established with your Ftys? Inspection and reporting? Needle control?
2. Has any of your Ftys been accredited with a retailer? If yes, pls. provide details.
3. Has any of your Ftys been audited for social compliance with any retailer? If yes, pls. provide details.
E. GENERAL:
1. Do you or the Ftys have your own merchandising team?
2. Do you or the Ftys have a good English communication support personnel?
3. For future business, are we going to communicate directly with the Ftys?
F. SOCIAL COMPLIANCE
1. Have you or any of your Ftys been accredited with a retailer? If yes, pls. provide details.
2. Has any of your Ftys been audited for social compliance with any retailer? If yes, pls. provide details.
G. WAL-MART SUPPLIER
1. Have you ever been a Wal-Mart Supplier? If yes, since when and which brand and region do you deal with.
2. Did you become a WM supplier through a vendor or do you deal directly with the WM office?
3. Do you currently have purchase orders directly with WM or with a vendor of WM?
H. WAL-MART ETHICAL STANDARDS
1. Has your Factories been audited under the WM Ethical Standards? If yes, pls. provide details.
2. What is the WM assessment rating of your Factories after the audit?
3. Have you ever had a Factories that was rated as RED (disapproved)? If yes, pls. provide details.
a. Has the Factories been re-audited after 1 year of disapproval?
b. What is the WM rating after re-audit?
c. Do you still use this Factories for WM orders?
4. Which areas of the ethical standards did you have most issues with?
5. If your Ftys have not been audited for WM Ethical Standards, would you be willing to make changes in order to become a WM factory?

验厂用的
非常正规的大公司才用(非常看重工厂的规模,生产能力,员工福利,机器型号,XXXXXXX.........................)
SOHO就没必要在这方面浪费太多感情了,最关键的是你连英语都不会

我很好奇。。楼主英语不好,也才刚开始外贸,怎么就去做SOHO了? SOHO真的有那么好做吗?

我来回答你:外贸三个月,不小心拿了两个个大单--外贸太好赚钱了----外贸6个月---我要飞单---外贸满一年----明年准备SOHO了----结果没SO出来----外贸两年----貌似还该再等等,可能机遇,准备都不充分----外贸三年-----再不闯就真没办法了-----然后正式SOHO

都说成功=99%的汗水+1%的运气,我咋看,好多找到大客户的貌似没什么努力,真晕。
还有,这么简单的一个东西LZ都弄不了,我想知道,就算这个大客放掉不做(或者做不了),以后怎么开发别的客户?

是呀,我比较爱好做外贸,但因我去面试很多家,人家都是要熟手,我进不去,所以只好自己做了,感觉第一步还挺难走的,不容易啊!

这套验厂的东西,找了一些加工厂,感觉规模都比较小,再大的都才100人以上的厂都很少,找好一点的厂合作也很不容易
