请高手帮翻译如下，，急，，，在线等。。万分感谢：昨晚出货装柜时清点数量发现仓库少了40件货物，工厂告知说是被偷了。因此这40件货没有装运。
经与工厂协商，工厂不愿意补数，因为重新补货的话。。几乎不太可能能买到跟大货一样颜色的材料，且整个生产环节包括备料至少要再花一个多月两个月时间。。。
考虑到这款货物我们之前已走了一万多双空运，损失很大。。加上这次的货物丢失及以上提及到的种种问题。。我们在此恳请取消这40件货物。希望您能谅解并同意。

首先你要告诉客人理由，为什么会短货。最好不能用货物被偷这种理由，会让客人怀疑你们的能力...
第二要告诉客人准确数量，颜色，码数（如果有的话）。
第三，通常都有5%的允许误差吧，你也不必太客气了。直接告诉他不能补和理由就行了...

本人英語不是很好，以下只做參考，再看看哪裡需要修改的，本來是自己的錯，語氣一定要誠懇，客人才會接收，要站在客人角度來分析，
Dear XX,
Morning.
Sorry to advise you that we found the goods was missing 40 cartons(XX列出少了的產品數量和別明細) when container loading. The factory said the goods was stolen. We are very sorry about this.
If re-produce the goods, the leadtime time of production need about 2 month, and the re-do production will be have color shading with this mass goods. So, could we return the payment for those 40 cartons?(如果已付款)/Could we reduce the money for the 40 cartons from the rest payment(沒付款).We will give you discount for next order. Many thanks for your help.

另外，一個福友之前，因為裝柜的時候，產品做錯，但還是發貨了，客人很生氣，這個產品應該已經出貨了吧，往往發貨之前出現問題，出貨之貨才說，客人很生氣。如果已經出貨，就可以加上一句，"To save the time, the goods have delieried yesterday"
