There are big eggs and small eggs and the small ones are always a problem for the stall keepers. J.P.Morgan(Founder of Morgan Financial Group) had a good idea. He found that small eggs would seem bigger in his wife's hands while big eggs would seem smaller in his hands. The secret was just so simple and they did it well in selling eggs of different sizes.Take a look at other interesting examples:
If a customer wants to by some tea,say, 500gram, an experienced shop assistant would likely add tea bit by bit until it's 500gram while an less experienced shop assistant would likely do the opposite, which is to reduce tea bit by bit until it's 500gram. What would you feel if you are the customer? Psychology plays an important role in the process of selling and buying.
Have you ever noticed that you are likely to consume beer relatively faster if you are served with a short and broad cup instead of a fine one?
I think it necessary to give much heed of these cases mentioned above and pay great attention to the service provided to our customers.
