大家好,我们有个俄罗斯的客户订单正在确认,数量少,产品多都不谈,主要是纠结于付款条件和交期!一开始我们的是30% deposit and 70% 发货前付款,客人非要10% 预付 80% 见提单 10%发货后30天
中间谈的很曲折最后我们同意20% 预付 80% 提单copy件20天
最后签单的时候,他非要我们12月15号发货,但是我们想要收到定金40天,电话沟通了好几次我们的立场是定金付的越早 交期就越早,
我们担心的是 要是你订单彩卡什么安排的晚 12月15号我们不一定能交货,到时候我们就被动了,可他非要让我们签12月15号交期!
晾了一天,昨天快下班的时候,我写了封邮件问PI能确认不?他又揪着交期了不放了,于是就有了以下的邮件内容,请大家从后往前看,客户看了我的邮件,很不高兴,之后,老板也给他写了封邮件,才安抚了他的情绪。
我想问,我的邮件是不是看起来太凶了?老板讲,我现在的水平只能把汉语原文翻译出来而不能根据语境把实际情况按照有利于局面的语言做实际陈述??请问你们能做到吗?其实当时写邮件的时候我确实是耐着性子写的。。。

sorry that you are feeling we are not polite. That is surely misunderstanding between the Chinese language and English translation.
We value very much the contact and order relationship with your company. We know your company are not small and it will be very good chance for us to enter russia market thru your repected company.
anyhow, if possible, could you arrange to come to moscow to visit my booth next week? It is my first time to visit Russia and it will be difficult for me to find way from moscow to your city by myself. hehe.
by the way, for the contract clause, it is more safe for us to say the delivery time as 40 days after get deposit. Because the first order, we have possibility to meet may uncertain things, say, deposit payment , the artwork confirm time,pkg requirement time, shipping mark confirm time and etc.
but, as I said above, you are VIP for us for Russia market, we will try all our best to meet your deadline time if everything at your side is smooth.

Moreover yesterday you told me that you will confirm it- but you haven't!
And now you are saying "go and pay", no "please" no "please be kind".
May be you are right, that if we pay this week- you will have your 40 days. BUT don't be rude to me. And if you confirm yesterday by phone- you cannot write to me :"go and pay"! Even if you are right

If you have already arranged, 15th is no problem for us, and the delivery term showed on PI has no contradiction with this at all.
so, why are you always focus on 15th?we need the deposit to purchase the fabric, and fabric producing takes 1 month.when of this week? go and pay today, and email us the bankproof, than we can meet 15th,maybe ealier.

额 我觉得不光只是go and pay这句话吧 从之前的邮件里我读到的感觉是LZ给人的感觉都是很强硬的 也许这个是你们讨论期限所必须的 不要太让着他们而让自己的利益受到损害 不过如果我是客户 我觉得你的邮件好像是在跟我吵架的感觉 看着心里有些不爽 呵呵

呵呵,感觉不仅是楼主的邮件,就连楼主老板的邮件,都还需很大的改善。意思表达清楚简明,又要人看起来舒舒服服,落落大方,这才是商务函件的真正要求。

既然你们答应了他付定金40天交货的交期,那么他在11月5号之前付款就可以了,确实语气需要缓和一点
邮件写完了,自己换位思考一下,你收到邮件是怎样的一个感受?

If deposit can be received before 5th Nov, we can meet delivery date on 15th Dec. Or the delivery date will be delayed accordingly. Since it is peak season from Nov, our production scheduial is acturally a little bit tight, the earlier you can arrange payment, the better for us to keep the delivery time.

可是水单付过来,一般要几天才能到帐的,并且合同上有个条款就是迟交货一天,就得给需方给10%合同金额作为补偿,还有呀,彩卡呀什么确实都要很久的. 不过我的邮件一般 看上去都很冲,可能跟我性格有关系吧。但是确实要改

我这是时间仓促这么写的,既然是要下单的客人当然是重中之重,你可以话更多时间去揣测怎么写对方更容易接受。
各种理由你都可以解释,而且对应对方的合同条款,你的PI里面可以备注自己的条款,对抗客人的这个条款:收到定金多少天交货,但是从贵司付款到我司收到定金一般需要3个工作日,所以我司必须在多少日之前收到银行水单才可以确保交期,否则造成的交期延误,我司不承担任何责任。
这个语气的问题就是换位思考了
