1. Rubber Soles should have designs that are formal and semi formal. We prefer soles in thickness 4.00mm or 4.50mm in strong sheet and less smell. The design should be like leather sole or some Italian look. We would prefer two-tone finish on the sole to make it look pricey.2. The soles should not smell. A typical rubber smell is there in the soles but it should be as low as possible. Lower smell and good strength is a characteristic of good quality rubber.
3. We prefer soles with welt. Welts are pasted on the top edges of the soles. They come in different designs like cord, stitched, plain etc. The size of the welt depends on the height of the welt and the width of the welt. The size we require ranges from 3mm(height)* 2mm(width) to 4mm(height) *5mm (width).
4. All soles to have a tip cut. This cut is made on the heel and is a small slant cut on the inside edge of the heel.
5. All soles should have half rift or some rugged design for better grip. Half rift is a design on the backside of the heel.
6. Heel must be stapled on the sole across a minimum 3 points.
7. Soles to be made according to our pattern – For all the soles, we will give out our pattern that is called CA. Ca means the empty area where the lasted upper will be pasted on the sole. All rubber soles are hand made and are made out of sheets. We will give you our ca pattern for every size and for every last design. All the patterns will be numbered properly to avoid confusion. While checking you have to ensure that the ca patterns of all sizes sits perfectly in the sole. There should be no
margin of error in the same.
8. On the pattern we will also mark the heel heights at 3 different points. This is required to be checked while inspection. Heel heights are to be followed strictly across all 3 points to avoid toggling.
9. Packaging of sole is very important. Every pair should be packed in a plastic bag to avoid contact with anything outside. The boxes should not be overstuffed and should not weigh more than 15 kilos. Standard export packing must be followed and minimum 9 ply box must be used to pack the soles.

鞋底的包装方式十分重要。每双鞋底都要包在一个塑料袋之内，避免和外界接触。放在纸箱内的鞋底数量不能过量（就是纸箱不能给塞得鼓鼓的），每个纸箱重量不能超过15kg。
包装应该符合出口标准，包装鞋底的纸箱至少为9层式的（这个指的应该是纸箱的强度，那种做纸箱的瓦楞纸有5,7,9层的）。
