I am searching for a new additive to use in our current process. Currently we use the BASF A CO powder to mix into a UV curable adhesive that we then apply, cure, and use to sense and register another process to. In the curing process the typical high power Hg vapor lamps are used and in the UV sensor uses an 395nm light source for excitation of the fluorescence.I am trying find an alternative product that would possibly to two things to improve the process.
1) Improve the adhesive performance properties by allowing more of the UV wavelength energy to be used for the curing and less absorbed by the A. ie. block less 365-375nm energy form the photoinitators of the adhesive
2) Improve the process capabilities by provide better visual contrast b广告een the adhesive and the substrate through a different fluorescent emission wavelength of the additive. ie. something not in the typical blue 435-470nm range"
