Lesson Plan 2 - Speaking the Sales vocabulary
1. Introduction 5 minutes
2. Speaking the Sales vocabulary introduction (PPT) 60 minutes
3. Product Specification learning 40 minutes
4. Questions and Answers 15 minutes
Summary of lesson
In this lesson, Students will learn and understand different terminology used in Western sales and International sales.
They will get a chance to practice saying these terms and how to remember the pronunciations.
The second part of the lesson is aimed at making sure the students can describe the technical specifications of the products orally which will help when they speak to a customer.
These 2 parts will help to improve the student’s vocabulary and help them to be understood when talking to customers using English.
Lesson Plan - 3
1. Introduction 5 minutes
2. Introduction to different sales techniques (PPT) 40 minutes
3. Role-play using different sales techniques 60 minutes
4. Questions 15 minutes
Summary of lesson
This lesson will teach the students different sales techniques used in the West – from Passive sales to Aggressive sales.
It will also teach the students tips, tricks and cheats that are used in Western sales.
The role-play is designed for the teacher to assess each student, looking for the best sales method and techniques based on the student’s personality and sales skill.
By the end of the lesson, the students should fall into one of the following sales method:-
• Hunter – very aggressive sales
• Farmer – works away slowly at the customer
• Farming Hunter – someone who can be both Hunter and Farmer
• Complaints Handler – someone who has a calm and relaxed personality but gets the job done

2. Introduction to Customer Complaints 20 minutes
3. Customer Complaints role-play 80 minutes
4. Questions 15 minutes
Summary of lesson
No company or sales person likes handling complaints but it is a must of all companies.
In this lesson, the students will learn the most effective way to handle complaints, how to resolve the complaint and keep the customer.
The students that fall into the “Complaints Handlers” category in the previous lessons should do very well during the role-play
