加拿大外贸
遇到一个棘手问题,因为我们的问题导致发货延误,本来货客户是准备发海运的,但现在时间来不及了,只能发空运才能保证客户按时收到货.我们跟客户沟通,空运费(2400USD)我们每人出一半,但客户不同意,只答应承担当初海运的那部分(600USD),这票货物本来利润就很低,如果让我们承担1800USD的运费,基本上就是一分钱挣不到,白干一场。各位前辈,我们该如何跟客户沟通呢?跪求指点。以下是客户的邮件:
This is a really serious issue. We are about to lose the customer because of the delay in the production… We cannot accept to pay 1200USD of the air freight. This is a public tender for the Government of Algeria and the margins are ridiculous… if we also have to deal with an air shipment cost we are done..
I beg you to think about this and talk with your boss about it, you are moving your problem to us and that is not fair!! We did the payment with enough time (4 weeks you said you need to produce them) for you to make the monitors and send us to Spain by sea. So I think the problem is yours and we shouldn’t have to be dealing with this right now… it wasn’t our mistake or our delay… it is yours!
I need the goods here by the first week of February. Let me know your solution…

既然是你们这边的问题,就去承担,赚钱是一回事,但信誉又是另一回事,就当做买了个经验教训!

首先还是看一下是什么问题导致的交货延迟,可以向客户用心解释,找到折中一点的办法,毕竟我们还是以营利为目的的商家。
其次呢,肯定是要找能走专线的优势货代啦,看能不能给到优惠的空运价格咯!
最后,也是最重要的,就是引以为戒,下次处理事情的时候多几个心眼,考虑周全一点,避免不必要的错误。

物流方面也可以想想办法啊。能不能空运一部分,剩下的海运?需要了解客户的真实情况。看看能不能compromise
很多时候,客户对真实的需要也是不了解的。所以要双方努力,充分沟通。
