用外语打电话确实是件棘手的事情,因为您无法看见其他人的脸或观察他们嘴唇的动作。 但不要担心! 以下这些短语将帮助您开始和结束通话,还带有您可能听到的对方回答的示例。如何开始通话
这样: 拨号码。 当有人回答时,说:
(您):
“Hallo, this is Coco Xu, calling from Beijing. Could I please speak to Nadia Lawrence?”
如果您恰巧接通了要找的人,他们将会这样说:
(他们):
“Yes, speaking! How are you? What can I do for you?”
如果您要找的人不在那里,接电话的人可能会说:
(他们):
“I’m afraid he/she isn’t here at the moment. He’s/she’s in a meeting. Can I take a message?”
“Would you like to leave a message?”
“Could you possibly call back in about twenty minutes?”
“Hang on, please, I’ll put you through.” (“Hang on”的意思是等一下。)
“Just a minute, please, I’ll try to connect you.”
您可以说:
(您):
“Could you please ask him to call me back as soon as possible?”
“Could he call me back, please? It’s quite urgent.”
“Could you please give her a message?”
(他们):
“What was your name again, please?”
“Could you give me your number?”
“What was it in connection with?”
一旦接通要找的人,请说明您打电话的目的
(您):
“I hope I’m not disturbing you. Have you got a minute to talk?”
“Sorry to bother you, but I have a rather urgent question about (the new process).”
“I’d like to discuss (the delivery date of the new system) with you.”
“I was wondering if we could discuss (a couple of points in the agreement).”
“The reason I’m calling is this: …”
(他们):
“Yes, no problem! Now is fine/good/perfect.
“How can I help you?” “What’s up?” “What can I do for you?”
“Actually, I’m in a meeting at the moment. Can I get back to you in ten minutes?”
“I’m busy right now - could I call you in about half an hour?”
如果您想安排一次会面
(您):
“I was wondering if we could arrange a time to meet.”
“When would be good for you?” “What time would suit you?”
“How about Monday the 21st, at two-thirty?”
“Do you have any time on Friday?” “Could you do Tuesday at nine?”
(他们):
“Yes, that would be great.”
“No, sorry, I’m busy then. But ten-thirty would be good.”
如何结束通话
(您):
“Good, well I look forward to seeing/meeting you on Thursday!”
“Well, it was great talking to you, and we’ll be in touch!”
“Great, thanks very much for the information. Bye!” (“Bye”是“goodbye”的简略表达。)
请记住: 毫无疑问,您的英语比他们的中文好,而他们将感谢您为了讲他们的语言所做出的努力。 然而,有些时候,以英语为母语的人会忘记您不是以此为母语的,因而说话太快。 为了让他们慢下来,请尝试如下对话:
1. 说,“I’m sorry, could you possibly speak slower? I’m having trouble understanding you.”
2. 当对方说话时,重复每一条信息,如:“OK, the 19th at four o’clock,” 或,“How do you spell that, please?” 或,“Hang on, let me just get a pen and write that down.”
3. 如果您不明白,不要害怕要求他们重复,如:“Sorry, could you please repeat that?” 或,“Sorry, I didn’t quite catch that,” 或,“Sorry, could you say that last bit again?”
最后讲一个语法点
“At”用于时间。 “See you at four o’clock.”
“On”用于某一天。 “See you on Wednesday.”
“In”用于月份/季节/年份/城市: “We can deliver the items in February/in the spring/in 2011/in Beijing.”

打电话是非常有效的销售方式。见到很多新手不会打,不敢打,我提供一点同事Eva的经验给大家。
与前台打交道, 通常会遇到的情景:
1. Who’s that?
2. Where are you from?
对方其实并不是问你来自哪个国家,而是问你的公司名称
3. Regarding?
直接告诉他/她找负责人的原因。一般都会帮忙转接电话。
4. He’s not in at this moment.
1)通常对方会告诉你多久之后再打过去。
2)若没有,可问问负责人不在的原因,是出差了?还是还没到公司?
同时问问他们的工作时间是怎么样的?负责人一般什么时间段在公司?
5. He is not available at this moment/ He’s in a meeting now.
1) 问问对方什么时间负责人方便?/ 会议什么时候能结束?
2) 告知对方你会再打电话过去
6. I will transfer you to our customer service department; they will response you, thank you, bye.
1) 转到客服部门后,你可以告诉对方你想要做什么,他们通常会转给负责人。
2) 同时不能指望负责人主动联系你,需要继续打电话让前台帮忙转给负责人。
3) 与此同时还可以发邮件到负责人公司公共邮箱,发传真给负责人。
4) 另外,可以直接让前台帮忙转接到采购部门,先和采购部门人聊,通过那人和负责人联系上。
7. He is not working with us now.
负责人已经退休,或者是新换了负责人。出现这种情况非常少,1‰几率。
出现这种情况,可以问问前台:现在的负责人是谁?同时请她帮忙转接电话。
和负责人沟通上后,负责人通常会问的一些问题:
1. What’s your company name?
2. What’s your main product?
3. What kind of equipments you have?
4. Where’s your factory located?
5. Where did you get my name?
6. Can you send me an email?
7. Sorry I don’t speak English much. Pls send me a e-mail.
PS:
1. 当接电话的人不说英语时该怎么办?
1) 换个时间再打,下一次接电话的人有可能就会说英语
2) 请他转接给会说英语的。
3) 学一句简单的他们的语言。“麻烦请帮我转接给XXX”
4) 发邮件和传真代替
5) 另外:有的人一听我们这边说英文,就会直接挂断电话。很常见。可根据客户价值程度选择继续坚持再打或者Pass掉。
2. 根据自己的经验
亚洲: 韩国, 日本,
情况: 几乎99%的前台都不说英语
小建议:学习一句“请帮忙转接到XX”
西欧: 意大利,法国,西班牙,
情况: 大部分人不说英文,但一般至少有一人会英文
小建议:找到那位会说英语的,同其沟通
北欧: 基本上都说英语
