PEKIN (AP) - Pékin a choisi son slogan pour les Jeux olympiques d’été qu’elle accueillera en 2008: "Un monde, un rêve", ou "l’aspiration commune des 1,3 milliard de Chinois à établir un monde de paix et un avenir meilleur", a expliqué lundi le président du comité d’organisation, Liu Qi.Quelque 210.000 propositions en chinois, français, espagnol, portugais et autres langues avaient été soumises, selon M. Liu. Le slogan a été présenté lors d’une cérémonie retransmise en direct à la télévision depuis le Stade des travailleurs de la capitale.
La Chine a par ailleurs entamé dimanche la construction de son village olympique, qui accueillera 16.000 sportifs et responsables pendant les jeux, du 8 au 24 août 2008. Les organisateurs estiment que les travaux devraient être achevés pour la fin 2007. AP
