ZKTEST wishes to advise clients that effective from the 1st March 2019 (arrival date), the Cargo Tracking Note (CTN) is mandatory for all shipments discharging in Senegal.
CTN number is shipper’s responsibility and must be obtained for all shipments to Senegal.
The shipper must mention the CTN on all Forwarding Instructions for shipments to Senegal.as it is required to be mentioned on both the bill of lading and manifest.
Shipments without a valid CTN manifested will be subject to penalties and the resulting fines and charges will be the shipper’s responsibility.
