看了多大计算机的网页,明年fall入学的网申时间是今年10月15到11月15,期间要把toefl,成绩单等寄到学校,要在网上填写申请表,并付申请费,可以有parttime的master course,估计竞争比较激烈

Applicants interested in the Master of Engineering in Telecommunications program must apply directly to the MET Office.Part A: Admission RequirementsPart B: Application ProceduresPart C: Application FAQ'sPart A: Admission RequirementsThe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers programs of study leading to the Master of Engineering, Master of Applied Science, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.1. AdmissibilityFor admission to the M.Eng. or M.A.Sc. programs, applicants must hold the equivalent of a University of Toronto Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. For admission to the Ph.D. program, applicants must hold the equivalent of a University of Toronto Master’s degree (with thesis) in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Due to the large numbers of applications received, only applicants with outstanding first class academic records and who demonstrate significant potential in research will be considered for admission.2. English FacilityProof of English facility (TOEFL with TWE) is required for applicants who complete degrees outside Canada, the United States, or the United Kingdom. English facility requirements, where applicable, must be satisfied at the time of application. English facility scores must not be older than two years at the time of application.Applicants may complete either the paper-based, computer-based or internet-based TOEFL.For the paper-based test, applicants must provide TOEFL and TWE scores of at least 580 and 4.0, respectively.For the computer-based test, applicants must provide TOEFL and TWE scores of at least 237 and 4.0, respectively.For the internet-based test, applicants must provide scores of at least 22/30 for each of the Writing and Speaking sections and an overall score of at least 93/120.Applicants may also provide scores from IELTS or MELAB to satisfy the English facility requirement. Score requirements for each test are listed:IELTS at least 7.0MELAB at least 85Applicants should forward a copy of the TOEFL score report to the ECE Graduate Office, along with the Application for Admission. The Department also recommends that scores be forwarded directly from TOEFL to the School of Graduate Studies, University of Toronto. The institutional code for the University of Toronto is 0982. The department code is 66.3. Academic TranscriptsApplicants must provide official (hard copy) transcripts for all post-secondary programs completed, attempted, or in progress. Transcripts must list the years of study, courses taken and grades received. In cases where the program was completed, the applicant must also provide proof of degree conferral.Applicants who attend(ed) non-English speaking universities must have the universities provide official transcripts and proof of degree conferral in the original language, as well as in English.Universities must forward transcripts in sealed envelopes bearing the institutional stamp or signature across the back flap DIRECTLY to the ECE Graduate Office:The Edward S. The ECE Graduate Office will contact faculty members by e-mail and telephone to authenticate all references.5. Statement of Intent and Curriculum Vitae (Resumé)Applicants must enter the statement of intent on-line. A curriculum vitae or resumé may be uploaded in PDF format.6. Research PreferenceApplicants must classify their research interest according to at least one of the areas listed. Enter your applicant profile on the SGS application website.2. As you submit your applicant profile, the SGS website will prompt you to make arrangements for payment of the application fee. You may pay the application fee on-line or off-line. The fee is payable on-line by credit card, or off-line by credit card, certified cheque or money order. Cheques and money orders should be made payable to the University of Toronto. If you pay off-line, you must forward a hard copy of the Payment Form directly to the School of Graduate Studies.3. After submitting your applicant profile and making arrangements for payment of fee, print one copy of the Application for Admission. Sign the application and forward it directly to the ECE Graduate Office, along with a copy of the English facility score report (if applicable). Applicants should also have their TOEFL scores forwarded directly to the School of Graduate Studies, University of Toronto. The institutional code for the University of Toronto is 0982. All post-secondary transcripts must be forwarded directly from the issuing institution to the ECE Graduate Office.4. Proceed to the ECE application website where you will input detailed applicant information.5. January 7 is the deadline for submission of all applicant information and materials. Detailed applicant information and referee reports must be submitted on-line by January 7. Hard copy of the Application Form, transcripts and English facility score report (where applicable) must arrive in the ECE Graduate Office by January 7. SGS must receive payment of the application fee by January 7.Back to TopPart C: Applications FAQ’s1. What is the timeline for review of applications?Applicants may check the status of their application and supporting documents on-line on the ECE application website at any time. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis starting January 8. The Department expects to report on the outcome of all applications by June 15, 2007.2. May I waive the application fee?No. All applicants must pay the non-refundable application fee ($90.00 CAD) to the School of Graduate Studies. The fee is payable on-line by credit card, or off-line by credit card, certified cheque or money order. Cheques and money orders should be made payable to the University of Toronto.3. As an international applicant, how do I determine whether my degree is equivalent to a University of Toronto Four-year Bachelor’s degree with mid-B standing?A list of degree equivalencies is available from the School of Graduate Studies. Please note that although the SGS admission requirement is mid-B, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will consider only applicants with outstanding first class academic records and who demonstrate significant potential in research. Students who simply meet the minimum admission requirement are strongly discouraged from applying.4. What is the average time to completion for the M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees?The average time to completion of degree is 16 to 24 months for the M.A.Sc., and four years for the Ph.D.5. Must I write the GRE in preparation for submitting an application?Applicants are not required to submit GRE scores. However, if you have taken the GRE, you may enter the scores on the ECE application website. If you do enter GRE scores, you should also forward a hard copy of the GRE score report along with your application form.6.
