(综合)2021年的第一天，有人就不好好过了！
昨天新年的第一天早上，本那比一辆出租车在Kingsway & Gilley Ave被一名涉嫌醉酒的司机开车撞中，燃起熊熊大火，最后出租车被烧焦。

本那比皇家骑警在推特上发布了一张被大火烧焦的出租车照片，显示撞车的严重程度。
A taxi was hit by a vehicle and fully engulfed in flames on Kingsway at Gilley Ave. Fortunately there were no passengers and the driver escaped. A man is in custody and alcohol is suspected. pic.twitter.com/bsVNIEZOD1

警方称事件发生在凌晨2点30分，出租车司机在大火中逃生。
警方表示，撞中出租车的汽车司机最后经过呼气检测，显示体内酒情已超出法定限额三倍。
警方指幸亏出租车上只有司机一人，可以很快安全逃生，肇事司机本人也很幸运，没有在事件受伤或自己丧命。
警方也在推特上解释路中间的物品是汽车爆炸后被炸飞的安全气囊。

警方再次提醒驾驶安全的重要性，并对肇事司机处以禁驾90天。

The driver was transported to #Burnaby detachment, where he blew over 3 times the legal limit.
