公共安全局长 Mike Farnworth 在今天周二下午2点举行新闻发布会表示，根据应急管理和野火官员的建议，宣布BC省进入紧急状态，并于今天午夜生效。
全省紧急状态予以省府能够使用“特殊权力”，采取措施应对或减轻火灾的影响，并确保支持疏散者所需的住宿空间。
