今年山火省府耗费5个亿
BC省山火官员表示，今年到目前，省府在山火燃烧投入的成本已经超过 5 亿元，是山火预算成本1.36 亿元的三倍还有多。
省长贺谨表示，BC省今年将花费 5亿元或更多的资金来扑灭山火，远远超过预算的三倍。
省长于昨天在山火重灾区洛根湖透露这些数字。

省长表示，到目前为止已经花费 5亿元用于本年的消防工作，而现在仍处于 8 月，还有更多工作要做，预计仍需耗费更多的资源。
BC省 2021 年山火预算定为 1.36 亿加元。
去年，BC省花费 1.937 亿加元扑灭山火。 2017年是有记录以来最严重火灾季，BC省花费 6.49 亿加元。
贺谨称省府打算改变山火预算的方式，每年 12 个月为防火提供资金。如果年底有资源，BC山火服务处就可以安排人员完成工作，协助工作。

4月1日以来，全省共发生山火1552宗，烧毁面积864473公顷。
根据BC省的数据，截至周五，幸亏出现天气凉爽和雨水，山火数量已降至 236 宗。
目前和一线火场斗争的消防员和其他人员的人数为 3,238 人。

因山火颁布的全省紧急状态将于 9 月 1 日到期。
目前，仍有 29项疏散令生效，涉及 3,500 栋房产，全部位于省中部地区。另外 7,700 处房产处于疏散警报状态，如山火情况恶化，居民必须随时准备离开。
