阿伯茨福德市于昨天周二晚些时候发出紧急疏散请求，已经从当地苏马斯草原救出了 184 人，目前仍有 300 人被困在苏马斯草原。

多个城市变成孤岛、数十万住户停电、数个城镇进入紧急状态，数万民众紧急大撤离。
持续降雨导致省内公路多处爆发泥石流，迫使所有进出低陆平原的高速路被迫关闭，导致更多车辆瞬间被困。
风暴裹挟着海边的巨浪撕裂停靠的船只撞击桥面
数不清的地方由于洪水浸泡正变得岌岌可危，警报声此起彼伏：
洪水将Princeton的社区淹没，居民撤离后如末日景象。
但是，BC省的省民们，在绝望中寻找希望！
所以，我们看到的，是这样的画面。
位于Hope希望镇的Panago Pizza店非常繁忙，他们主动负责免费提供给被困人员餐食
Delta、素里都有分店的Guru Nanak Gurdwara带领数十名志愿者打包了3000份餐点送到HOPE的救灾中心给滞留的灾民
他们甚至自己雇私人直升机，自己支付费用来运送这些餐点（烤肉、胡萝卜、水果）到灾区，他们说将在未来几天尝试更多的送餐。
无数的省民在平台上送上感谢，称他们是英雄，BC省人就是这么了不起：
Agassiz 和 Hope 之间的高速公路沿线住户并不多，只有几栋房子和一座原住民建筑。
但是，当周日两次山体滑坡在高速上困住了100名司机和家庭时，原住民向有需要的陌生人敞开了大门。

截至到昨天晚上，加拿大的空中救援队在这次BC省的洪灾中将311人、26 只狗、1只猫解救出来并运送到安全的地点。
Trooper Reese是救援PIO后备役之一，在这场风暴中，他帮助了很多市民很多次，而他自己的房子却被洪水淹没。
这应该是他的休息日，他却穿上了工作外套出去帮助寻找受灾居民
由于断网断电，Anthony Reese在雨中和泥泞中站了几个小时，提供路过的人有关高速路段关闭的最新信息。
