3月4号，俄罗斯通过法律修订条款，把蓄意传播假新闻、虚假信息等认定为刑事犯罪，会处以罚款甚至判刑。
当天，CNN，CBS、BBC、Bloomberg、ABC News、BBC和CBC都主动宣布终止在俄罗斯的频道节目。

TikTok 和 Netflix 暂停了在该国的服务。YouTube 的未来充满疑问。苹果、三星、微软、甲骨文、思科等公司已从俄罗斯撤出或完全撤出。
