（九爱加拿大网综合）周六晚上，温哥华市中心Granville娱乐区凌晨发生暴力事件，大量警察出现在现场，多人伤势严重需要送院治疗。
根据温哥华警察局的一份声明，事件发生在晚上 10 点，事发地点是一间廉租单室住户（SRO）。一名男子在 Granville 和 Smithe 街交叉口附近的一间出租屋内放火烧毁了他的套房，温哥华消防救援服务部将其人员召集到现场。
警方在声明中说，该男子随后袭击并刺伤了大楼内的四人。警方到达现场时，他仍然拿着武器。警方开枪射击，嫌疑人受伤后送院治疗。
周日警方在推特上表示，嫌疑人被警方击中，没有生命危险。
