请问一下：我有一票美国信用证，交货日期是在6月20号，已经押汇成功了，可是现在又有加单，新的交期是8月1号，现在客人把加单的数量和金额，加进原来的第一票信用证里，可是在43P那里，却没有帮我们改成 允许分批装运！仍然坚持 NOT ALLOWED!想让客人再修改一下43P：
this partial shipment is for all L/C 13ILC18652,not for a re-order.And because we shipped the cargo of PO#10040 on June 20th,then we will ship PO#10046 on Aug 01st,there are two times of shipment,so please confirm your understanding our mean.
If you could not amend 43P as following our requirement,then this amend of L/C will be lose its effectiveness! We can not accept this! And then please help us to issue a new L/C for us today,OK?
可是客人坚持说：We have checked with our bank previously on this and have also done many LCs with this type of amendment and there has never been a problem. I think you do not understand the amendment. Please check it over again. This only applies to reorder (10046) not entire shipment (10040)
1. This amendment applies to the reorder 10046 ONLY. The section of the LC with the first shipment 10040 is finished. This is done with. The amendment has nothing to do with it. This amendment is completely separate. The no partial shipment applies only to 10046. We can not accept to write allow partial shipment because this means 10046 can be shipped partial. Note that this amendment is for PO 10046. It does not mention 10040. We should no longer bring up 10040 because it has been shipped and you have been paid.
