大家好，我是外贸公司的，现有英国客户要工厂的CE证书，工厂提供了ECM 的证书， 碰巧客户发邮件给ECM 查验。 以下是ECM回复。 Dear Sirs,Please carefully read :
With reference to your mail we inform you that we have released such Verification of Compliance, released on voluntary basis, which is NOT a CE Certificate of Conformity. As you can note there is no reference to us as NB or to our notification Number.
Please be informed that in this case we have acted as a third independent part, NOT as Notified Body, contacted by the manufacturer’s consultants. We have been required to evaluate the compliance of the Technical File provided to us by the Manufacturer’s consultants. The output of this evaluation activities is the release of the Document you hold (Verification of Compliance), which consists in a pre compliance evaluation.
Whereas and as indicated in the Document Remark, the Manufacturer is responsible to start the CE Certification process through an appointed Notified Body of the and not exempted to perform all the necessary activities before placing the product(s) on the market.. Moreover we like you to remark that we are NOT responsible for any eventual not conformity of the product the manufacturer is supplying.
