1 Undercarriage
a. Check C beams (support beams). They should be visible. Y
2 Outside / Inside Doors
a. Secure reliable locking mechanisms. Y
b. Look for different color bonding material. Y
c. Any plates or repairs to the container? N
3 Right Side
a. Any unusual repairs to structural beams? N
b. Repairs to the inside walls of the container must be visible on the outside. Y
c. Use a tool to tap side walls. Listen for hollow sound. Y
4 Left Side
a. Any unusual repairs to structural beams? N
b. Repairs to the inside walls of the container must be visible on the outside. Y
c. Use a tool to tap side walls. Listen for hollow sound. Y
5 Front Wall
a. Are blocks and vents visible? Y
b. Use a tool to tap front wall. Listen for hollow sound. Y
c. Use measuring tape or range finder to measure from front to rear of the container (to see if there is a false wall). Y
6 Ceiling/Roof
a. Are blocks and vents visible? Y
b. Repairs to the inside ceiling of the container must be visible on the outside. N
c. Use a tool to tap the ceiling. Listen for hollow sound. Y
7 Floor
a. Any unusual repairs? N
