Dear Sir/ Madam,We are interested in Highway Anti-noise barriers, therefore we are sending you attached the Technical Specification and drawings of the anti-noise highway barriers.
The transparent boards should be of polymethylmetacrylate, thickness 15 mm.
The quantity we need is 6000 linear meters. The height of the barriers is 3 meters. They will be placed on highway bridges.
Please send us your quotation in linear meters in Euro currency.
11600. Anti-Noise Barrier
11601. General
The anti-noise barriers shall be constructed of panels for the purpose of assembling along the bridge structures where the noise coming from traffic should be decresed down to 10 dBA as per the requirements of “Guidelines for Landscaping of Roads” – GRA -1990 on one side and where the erection of plant or earth embankment barrier is not possible.
The exact location, way of assembling and mounting should be done as per the drawings and in accordance with the directions of the Engineer.
It is the Contractor’s responsibility to find the proper manufacturer.
After the approval of the Engineer the instructions in the manufacturer’s manual should be kept in the process of erection till the full satisfation of the Engineer.
11602. Method of Measurement and Basis of Payment
Anti-noise barrier shall be measured by the linear metre.
The quantities measured above shall be paid for at the unit rates included in the Bill of Quantities. The unit rates shall be full compensation for furnishing and installing the anti-noise barrier to the required lines and levels shown on the drawings or as otherwise directed by the Engineer and for all labour, tools, equipment, supplies and incidentals necessary to complete the work.
