呵呵,刚发去一个报价,老外就回了一句话:Sorry ,your price is expencive. 看着挺来气的,什么都不说,就说价格贵。不过今天心情好,不卑不吭的给他回了一封邮件。后来发现这篇回邮竟然适应各种机械外贸,因为里面连半个专业术语都没有,呵呵。自我感觉不错,贴上来分享一下,绝对原创哦,灵感足,10分钟就完成了。

I'm 100% sure my price is higher than some other suppliers. And I'm glad you have noticed this.
As we know, price comes out from cost + profit. We use the most advanced technology and best quality available in China. So the cost is much higher than those who use second technology and second quality or even worst quality.
Each supplier shall get profit from business. I need profit and it's for 1000% sure, that other suppliers, that is, my competitors also need profit. So if their price is lower than mine, it NEVER means, they get less profit from the business. They get same profit or even higher profit from this business. How can this be? Yes, reduce the cost. How can they reduce the cost? I know, and you also know.
Dear XXX, it's unfair to compare the prices only, unfair for me, and unfair for you as well. The distance between China and Turkey takes 10-hour flight. You can imagine what if the machine gets disordered? So you may understand how important it is to have a reliable machine, which constantly makes money for you all the time! If the machine frequently creates problems, that will be a great loss for your business.
I understand it's painful to pay more money at this time, but I guarantee you will feel quite rewarded in the future.
Sometimes I feel so tired and frustrated to explain to my customers why my price is higher. But I also get relieved because I know I have less complaints of my machine from my customers.

低价格在你那个行业就不全是意味着偷工减料吧,你这样说老外估计都不敢买中国的东西了。

恩 写的不错,可是就商业交流来看,不是很得体,简洁明了没有达到,客户不一定有那么多的耐心看完,我也当个小短文看了。
然后里面的一处: higher profit 应该是more profit 个人觉得虽然汉语是高利润但并不是实际意义的“高”而是“多”。

说明下背景,这是一个新客户,之前没有联系过。根据客人要求我发了份报价过去,然后他什么都没说明,就说价格高,我的价格其实也是很正常的市场价。你们都知道的,新客户,不可能直接给折扣价的,万一还价太狠呢。也正因为是新客户,所以聊天说话也缺少和老客户的随便和真诚。
写邮件不是写小说,要吊着对方胃口,邮件的长短完全取决于内容的需要。事情说完了,说清楚了,邮件自然结束了。简短,只是在于表达上面,而不是内容上面。
不过我更多觉得,在这种情况下写长内容的邮件,更能体现出你的水平,说不定,客户还能高看你一眼呢。
说句题外话,公司里总能接到很多推销电话。在我接起来的时候,对方还开着免提,你是省事了,可是我第一感觉就是对方对我不尊重,接下来的事情可想而知,就算我正有这个需要,我也会断然拒绝。同样的道理,只有对方觉得你是尊重他,他才愿意跟你继续交往吧。
客人已经回复了,他立刻搬出了几个有名气的同行。不过我现在还不清楚他的底,到时再和大家汇报吧。原文因为涉及到一些商业因素,不便贴出,请见谅。
一不小心,这个回复又回长了,不过实在是内容有点多。

I know about the companies you mentioned. Yes, I don't provide any LIW or imported gearbox in my offer. When my customer wants to buy a machine from me, I believe it is because he wants the best performance-to price ratio, which is the prevailing advantage of "made in China". In any case, what I offered stands for the top quality of "made in China". If you need LIW, I will, as usual, get the top Chinese supplier for you (sorry, we don't make LIW ourselves).
I never recommend to my customer to have imported gearbox while to have local other parts such as screws, barrels because an imported gearbox is highly beyond what is needed. That is, in some sense, a waste of money because the total machine cannot reach its limit.
All the time, I tell my customer, if he need a Chinese machine, then pls use everything from China. If he need a top machine, OK, buy from Germany, a complete line because Germany quality is the top of world.
OK, Siemens motor. It's a German brand, but completely made in China. In my offer, I did not indicate the brand, but our practice is from Xi'an, which has been testified very reliable. If you prefer, we can also provide Siemens, ABB and any brand you name. But this NEVER means, Siemens motor (made-in-China) is better than Xi'an motor.
Now let's go to the price again. I did not see the offer from either of above. I also believe you have found items included in their offers which are not included in my offer. But pls, to be fair, also discover any item in my offer which is missing in their offers.
