The BUYER shall, for each respective vessel, provide the SELLER with a letter of guarantee issued by a first class international bank which is acceptable to the SELLER and the SELLER's bank. Each letter of guarantee shall guarantee the BUYER's obligation for payment of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th installments of the contract price and be delivered to the SELLER concurrently with the shipbuilding contract becoming effective. The form and substance of each letter of guarantee shall, in all aspects, be acceptable to the SELLER and the SELLER's bank.
6. Refund Guarantee
The SELLER shall, for each respective vessel, upon the shipbuilding contract becoming effective, provide the BUYER with a letter of guarantee issued by the SELLER's bank securing the SELLER's obligation for refunding to the BUYER the installments received by the SELLER through the SELLER's bank, if and when any such installment shall become refundable to the BUYER in accordance with the terms of the shipbuilding contract.

当造船合同生效时,买方应该就每船向买方提供保函,该保函应该由卖方银行出具，担保根椐造船合同条款,当每批造船款发生应该退还的情况下，卖方会向买方退还其通过卖方银行向买方收取的每批造船款。
