客户说了这些I have just completed 2 days visiting some of our customers to see their reaction to
The UK leaving the European market. This trip was not good. The UK market is in
a state of turmoil with buying almost at a standstill. We received more cancellations than
new orders.
During the past week, our currency, the pound sterling has fallen in value by about 12% against the US dollar
which means a substantial increase in our cost of Xinfa furniture.
Our selling prices will have to be increased to cover this, in addition to the higher shipping costs
which are charged in US dollars.
Our sector of the furniture market is very price sensitive so this price increase could bring about
a huge decline in sales.
So for the time being, I would like you to put load 126 on hold until I can see the market
gaining more confidence together with improved spending.
I hope to give you better news with OK to proceed within the next few weeks.
