Real Estate brokeragelooking for a Marketing and Editorial Designer to join our marketing team. Inthis role, you will lead the design of brochures, direct mail, business cardsand digital marketing for our brokerage. Our Realtors are an integral part ofrepresenting the our brand in a professional manner, and design is an importantaspect of how that is delivered. In addition to completing design projects,this individual will also create templated designs for Realtors to use on theirown. The ambition is to drive greater brand consistency in the contentdistributed by Realtors, as well as increase exposure by making it seamless forRealtors to advertise our brand to potential customers. The Marketing Designeralso has a unique opportunity to help our Realtors be content leaders acrossnew channels.
The Marketing Designerwill concept, design and produce creative assets including digital design,photo editing, illustration and copy to support our marketing efforts across amultitude of channels. You will leverage your creativity, imagination, anddesign skills to deliver strong visual storytelling and showcase the valueproposition to our audiences through the lens of our Realtors. The MarketingDesigner will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across our organizationincluding the Product & Design teams to ensure brand cohesion andconsistency. An understanding of consumer journey mapping, brand building, andmarketing strategy would be valuable in this position. The ideal candidate willalso demonstrate pragmatism in balancing speed vs. quality, and a collaborativeapproach to design.
What you will do:

Design and develop marketing materials for Realtors to help selltheir listings, and acquire new customers by making it easy for the Realtors topromote themselves across various channels
·
Collaborate with the marketing team on the content strategy toelevate the visibility of Properly Realtors across digital marketing channelslike Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
·
Design print assets including brochures, cards and direct mailto help build local credibility and exposure where each Realtor is buildingtheir presence
·
From time-to-time, support business tasks such as slide designsupport for Realtor presentations to prospective customers
·
Help to iterate and evolve on our brand guidelines andpositioning through the lens of the Realtors, specifically how it relates toour visual identity and style
What we are looking for:
·
Experience in graphic/marketing design in a high growth DTC orB2C environment with a strong portfolio of previous work, including assets inprint marketing
·
Initiative to seek inspiration of what content and designapproaches other Realtors are leveraging, with the intention of raising the barof design at Properly
·
Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign,Photoshop, Illustrator)
·
Experience with landing page and website design
·
An expert understanding of visual design principles includinginformation architecture, colour, and typography
·
Ability to explore wide variety of creative ideas then narrowdown on the best solutions
·
Experience following brand guidelines, with a desire andaptitude to continue to iterate and evolve them on an ongoing basis
·
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to give and receiveconstructive feedback to improve the finished product
·
Self-starter attitude, comfortable maintaining multiple tasksand shifting business needs
·
Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment
Responsibilities Include:
·
Implement and manage digital advertising campaigns targeted tokey audiences, markets and/or regions.
·
Create engaging, on-brand email marketing collateral
·
Update and maintain all areas of the company’s corporate website
·
Ensure successful setup and deployment of both web and mobilecampaigns – including keyword research, campaign creation, content &creative optimization
·
Manage the implementation and optimization of AdWords, Facebookand LinkedIn Ads
·
Optimize all efforts including reviewing campaign performance,and continuous feedback
·
Creating and managing paid social campaigns across partnerchannels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
·
Communicate effectively and lead the presentation of sellingin-house products, campaign results and actions taken to successfully managecampaigns in front of a group of agents in-person & online.
·
Maintain company social media accounts at a high capacity
·
Create and maintain content calendars and copy across socialmedia platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn & Pinterest.
·
Setup & deliver campaign reports using various trackingplatforms
Qualifications:
·
Minimum 1 year of Digital Marketing experience
·
Minimum 1 year experience creating and monitoring social mediacampaigns to drive traffic, increase revenue, and grow community engagement inan agency environment
·
Google AdWords or Analytics Certification is an asset
·
Knowledge in social media tools, trends and applications forLinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Hootsuite & Pinterest
·
Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics and other Third-partyAnalytic tools
·
Experience using content management and email marketing tools
·
Experienced in Google Adwords & Facebook Ad CampaignManagement
·
Strong background in digital marketing management andcoordination
·
Strong writing skills - creative copywriting and editing
·
Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
·
Strong judgment, analytical and problem-solving abilities
·
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
·
Design experience: Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe CreativeSuite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
