The Position Specifically, the successful candidate will perform, but will not be limited to, the following duties: Generate lists using the criteria supplied by the Manager, Event Marketing;Coordinate all aspects of mass mailings (for example, compile lists from the Aptify and Microsoft Access databases and schedule the mailout with the mailing house);Compile lists for email campaigns including importing data into our email application, send out test messages and execute bulk email distributions;Prepare weekly registration reports;Run ad hoc reports (usually, these reports are for revenue and participant analyses) as requested by the Manager, Event Marketing;Create a new preocess database using Microsoft Access under the guidance and supervision of the Manager, Event MarketingThe Candidate Success depends on your ability to integrate strong database skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. The preferred candidate will be a strong team player who possesses the following qualifications and skills: Postsecondary education or equivalent combination of other education and experience;Two or more years working in a marketing environment;Proficient in producing Micosoft Access Reports, Queries, Graphs, Labels and Forms;Knowledge of and experience with integrating Microsoft Access with Excel and other software programs;Good knowledge of accounting and customer relationship management databases;Solid intermediate to advanced knowledge of using Microsoft Access and Excel; in particular, creating forms and reports, refining queries, creating macros, importing data and exporting data into and out of Excel and linking data with Excel;Must have good SQL programming skills;Must have strong technical skills with Microsoft Access;Possess basic HTML knowledge;Must have basic understanding of marketing concepts and strategies;Ability to work under stress;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Fluency in English is required and French is desirable.
