加拿大华人论坛 加拿大百科要不要去加拿大生孩子？
在加拿大
大姐一家打算移民去加拿大，所以我打算用旅游签证去加拿大生孩子，然后带回国内，等孩子上小学以后再送去加拿大上学。我跟老公都没有移民的计划，只想孩子以后在那边上学。因为没有保险，生孩子的费用全部是自己出，不知道那边的费用到底是个什么水平，有的说10几万，有的说几十万，有清楚的TX给说说吗？

回复: 要不要去加拿大生孩子？父母都是旅游签证，孩子应该不能落地拿加拿大护照吧。只有父母一方或双方都是加拿大公民或永久居民才能落地入加籍吧？是这样吗？

回复: 要不要去加拿大生孩子？网上一直很多误会，以为来加拿大生，都自动成为加拿大人。其实他们不懂，加拿大法律根本不是那样的。父母不是加拿大公民或永久居民，所生孩子就没有加拿大公民资格。

This includes people who: did not become citizens when the first citizenship act took effect on January 1, 1947were born in Canada but are not citizens because when they were born, one of their parents was a foreign diplomat and neither parent was a permanent resident or citizen of Canadawere born outside Canada to a Canadian parent, who are not already citizens or who lost their citizenship in the past, and who were born in the second or next generation abroad (this includes people who failed to retain citizenship)renounced their citizenship as adults with the Canadian government orhad their citizenship revoked by the government because it was obtained by fraud.

Please take time to read the title on top of section 3(2) of Citizenship Act. This clearly states "Not applicable to children of foreign diplomats, etc."法律原文：Not applicable to children of foreign diplomats, etc.(2) Paragraph (1)(a) does not apply to a person if, at the time of his birth, neither of his parents was a citizen or lawfully admitted to Canada for permanent residence and either of his parents was(a) a diplomatic or consular officer or other representative or employee in Canada of a foreign government;(b) an employee in the service of a person referred to in paragraph (a); or(c) an officer or employee in Canada of a specialized agency of the United Nations or an officer or employee in Canada of any other international organization to whom there are granted, by or under any Act of Parliament, diplomatic privileges and immunities certified by the Minister of Foreign Affairs to be equivalent to those granted to a person or persons referred to in paragraph (a).
