红条款简单说就是在做信用证时，会提前预付一部分货款。类似于**% as deposit , balance by L/C .
是一种对受益人有利的条款。

What I knew is bank will pre-advance some money to seller by wire, and the rest of balance will settle upon receipt of L/C docs. and my question is if the seller
won' t present docs to bank. so. what should we do?l

上次我有做一个，信用证上有写，受益人确认接受信用证时付20%的订金，然后我们打印了份WE accept the l/c.........，然后交给银行，我们的通知行，通知行向开证行发电报，过几天，开证行把钱付到我们帐上了。。。。。。。。。。。。。

Yeah, I knew. but the thing is the bank wire out 20%的订金. that is bank's liabilitiy. if it is wire by buyer, that is buyer's liability.

是的，这是一种按照信用证规定拿定金的做法。有时信用证条款也会规定受益人须开具一张汇票，再附上一份说明。总之，按照信用证要求做。

not too trouble. key point for ref.:
1. applicant requests the opening bank to issue a red clause L/C with the guarantee that the beneficiary will surely export the goods for the bank (usually the advising bank ) to anticipate the funds of pre-payment to baneficiary.
2. if, finally, the beneciary is not to effect the shipment, it will be the responsibility of the applicant at last, and he has to pay back the money anticipated plus the added interest. It means that the anticipatting bank asks the opening bank for the money, and then, the latter charges the applicant's account.
