Without B/L, the shipping company won't release the cargo, but without air way bill, the airline company will release the cargo.
Air way bill is issued on the day when the plane leaves for destination airport. When you get the air way bill, the cargo is on the way to your airport, and we lose control of the cargo, and get no guarantee on getting money. To take no risk, we have to get your payment before the vargo leaves loading airport.

空运提单是货离港当天就出，而且它不是客户清关必须的。一旦货离港，他要不要提单都能提到货，而你既失去了货物控制权，也失去了收到余款的保障。

1. B/L is available only for ocean shipping while air shipping has AWB. B/L is a goods title while AWB is only a air way bill.
2.the air shipping time is too short that when you arrange balance payment against AWB,the cargo might already arrives to your port before we receive your payment. our company will not allow thisto happend.

1.B/L is only available for sea freight while for air freight,there is only AWB.AWB is just a freight note,not the title of the
goods,which is solely embodied by B/L in sea freight.
2.As there is much less transporation time involved in air freight,it's highly likely that the goods may have arrived at your
airport while I haven't received the balance payment from you,if you will only effect it against copy of AWB.I am afraid that
our company does not allow this kind of situation to happen.
